The more I learn about the Las Vegas Marathon the more I’m starting to believe the people behind this event are reading my mind. Today they announced plans for the inaugural Elvis All-You-Can-Eat Pasta and Karaoke Party at Mandalay Bay the night before the race. The chefs at Mandalay Bay are cooking up a mouth-watering menu fit for “The King”. There will be an Elvis karaoke contest with amazing prizes including a race week stay at Mandalay Bay and free race entry for 2009 (looks like I’m coming back next year). They will even have a no-host bar since experts agree beer is a great source of carbs, to bad that’s not part of my training regiment!
